IKO ULTRA Prevent Hybrid System

The IKO Ultra Prevent Bituminous Roofing System can be used either with the Hybrid zero flame system or can be torch applied ensuring the product is versatile for both the site conditions and project requirements. The Ultra Prevent System achieves the highest awarded fire resistance without affecting the exceptional waterproofing function or life expectancy of the system, which is in excess of 30 years  BBA (Certificate No. 91/2671). Along with the use of graphite technology with self-extinguishing properties, this offers exceptional protection for your next project.

IKO ULTRA Prevent Hybrid System Typical System Build Up

IKO Ultra Prevent 25 Membranes consist of a polyester glass-fibre laminate, coated with SBS modified bitumen and incorporating Graphite Firewall Technology, offering the ultimate combination of long term waterproofing and protection.

IKO Ultra H-A Underlay is polyester reinforced bitumen membrane used within a built-up roofing system, The membrane is coated on both sides with self-adhesive bitumen SBS elastomeric coating. A fine mineral upper surface with a 75mm release film selvedge to facilitate rapid installation of lap joints is also present.

IKO Ultra Torch On Underlay consists of a polyester carrier coated with SBS rubber modified bitumen. The upper surface is finished with fine sand and the lower surface has a thermofusible film that rapidly melts during the torching operation.

IKO ULTRA Self Adhesive Air and Vapour Control layer is composed of a thick, impervious aluminium core, reinforced with a tough, polyester base and coated with a polymer modified bitumen. This coating is protected on the underside with a release film backing and the top surface has a fine mineral finish.

IKOpro Sprayfast MPP (Multi-Purpose Primer) is a specially formulated high performance bonding primer. It allows the speed of application of the bonding primer to be 5 times faster than conventional bitumen primers, promoting strong bonds at temperatures as low as 5°C.

IKOpro Stickall is a dense, all weather, bituminous sealing glue that remains plastic under normal temperatures and adheres well to most building surfaces including wet surfaces.
