IKO Permatec LI hot melt monolithic waterproofing blocks comprise of two options – the IKO Permatec LI Standard and IKO Permatec LI Anti-Root hot melt waterproofing compounds.
They are specially formulated combinations of refined bitumen, synthetic rubbers, fillers, and other additives. They are hot applied in conjunction with carefully selected reinforcements, detailing fabrics, and protection layers to give the ultimate waterproofing performance.
IKO Permatec LI offers an environmentally conscious option with a third-party verified and Global Warming Potential (GWP) reduction in embodied carbon of up to 50%.
Installed by a nationwide network of IKO Registered Installers, both compounds provide a fully bonded, tough, and flexible waterproof membrane for use on inverted, green, bio-diverse, blue, and flat roofs (including zero fall protected roofs).
IKO Permatec LI hot melt blocks are also suitable for use as a Damp Proof Membrane (DPM) in solid concrete floors. In addition, they can be used as the waterproofing layer in a typical sandwich membrane used for above or below-ground waterproofing in concrete, brick, or blockwork structures.
