IKO Easyseal Heat-Activated Partially Bonded Underlay is used as a main roof area underlay beneath IKO SBS Torch-On Capsheets. The partial bond feature works effectively to prevent potential blistering of the underlay and the capsheet above.
IKO Easyseal Heat-Activated Partially Bonded Underlay is a high-performance, glass-fibre-reinforced carrier with a heat-activated bitumen SBS elastomeric coating. The underside has a heat-activated bitumen coating (protected by a release film) that provides a 40% partial bond to primed substrates.
It also has a 75mm selvedge that facilitates a full bond and rapid installation of the lap joints. The upper surface has a fine mineral finish with a 75mm release film selvedge to facilitate rapid installation of lap joints.
The adhesive coating to the underside is activated when it comes into contact with IKOpro Easyseal Bonding Agent to give a guaranteed bond. The IKO Easyseal flat roofing system consists of seven high performance membranes.
Our BBA-approved (Certificate No. 02/3916) systems have been designed to remove the requirement for hot bitumen or naked flames for anyone installing roofing membranes.
