Used as a horizontal, vertical, or stepped damp proof coursing system, IKO Hyload Pluvex No. 1 Damp Proof Course (DPC) is a traditional bituminous DPC system that achieves the specification of BS 6398:1983 Class A.
The system can be used within solid or cavity walls up to and including three storeys to prevent the passage of moisture from the ground. It can also be used at all levels as a cavity tray to prevent the downward movement of water.
In addition, IKO Hyload Pluvex No. 1 Damp Proof Course can be used to provide protection under situations of minimal loading, such as parapet walls, under coping stones, and under
brick-on-edge detailing for both solid masonry and cavity wall constructions.
