IKO Parapet Outlet Rainwater Kits are used in through-wall applications or for parapet refurbishment in flat roofing, balconies, and terraces. They are suitable for use within IKO reinforced bituminous membrane systems and IKO flexia cold applied liquid roofing systems.
The IKO Parapet Outlet Rainwater Kits are manufactured from robust stainless steel. There are two kit types available depending on the opening size – IKO Parapet Outlets or IKO Sq Parapet Outlets.
Both kit types are available with a torch-on SBS bitumen membrane flange, providing a large area to bond to and enabling a very quick and simple installation. The flange is to be used in conjunction with IKO ULTRA bituminous waterproofing systems.
These kits are also available without the bitumen flange to reduce lap build up when installed alongside IKO flexia cold applied liquid waterproofing systems.
IKO Parapet Outlet Rainwater Kits must be installed by IKO Approved or Registered Installers. All work must be undertaken in accordance with the issued IKO specification document, or other guidance documents where applicable.
For optimum performance, these outlets should be inspected and cleared every six months to ensure peak operation. They should be maintained in accordance with the IKO maintenance schedule.
