IKO Polymeric will be exhibiting its range of high-performance waterproofing solutions at this year’s Build Show at the NEC, Birmingham, 18-20 October. The stand will be in the roofing pavilion, and details of some of the wide-ranging projects recently completed will be available.
IKO Polymeric is the only UK manufacturer of single ply roofing membranes. Its market leading range of Armourplan PVC and Spectraplan TPE membranes – both with a BBA certified life expectancy in excess of 30 years – will be shown on the stand.
Anthony Carlyle, Managing Director of IKO Polymeric, gives further details on Spectraplan: “Our TPE system combines the best performance characteristics of thermoplastics (eg PVC) and elastomerics (eg EPDM). It’s free from halogens and there are no plasticisers or HCFCs. The hot-air welding process doesn’t require solvents or generate smoke, so it’s fumeless and safe to install. The Build Show is one of the largest of its kind in the UK. In 2015, more than 24,000 attended the exhibition , including UK local authorities, top 10 UK housebuilders firms and all of the top 20 UK construction companies. This year’s show looks set to be even bigger.
