IKO Easyseal Self-Adhesive Fully Bonded Underlay is used for main roof areas in cold roof constructions and all detailing beneath IKO Easyseal Capsheets or IKO Easyseal Pro Capsheets. IKO Easyseal Self-Adhesive Fully Bonded Underlay is a high-performance, glass-fibre-reinforced carrier with a heat-activated bitumen SBS elastomeric coating.
The underside has a self-adhesive bitumen coating (protected by a release film) that provides a full bond to primed substrates. It has a 75mm selvedge that facilitates a full bond and rapid installation of the lap joints. The upper surface is protected with a polythene film that facilitates rapid bonding of the subsequent self-adhesive waterproofing layers.
The adhesive coating to the underside is activated when it comes into contact with IKOpro Easyseal Bonding Agent to give a guaranteed bond.
The IKO Easyseal flat roofing system consists of seven high performance membranes. This system has been designed to remove the requirement for hot bitumen or naked flames for anyone installing roofing membranes.
