Drill a clearance hole 6mm diameter by 45mm deep into substrate and fully insert the 40mm long fixing plug.
The central 3.8mm diameter pin is then hammered into place so that the barbed portion of the fixing plug splays out into the substrate, giving a secure grip and high pull-out resistance.
