IKO Roofgarden Systems

IKO Roofgarden systems are formed when roof garden finishes are installed. IKO Roofgarden capsheets are used as the top layer to these reinforced bitumen membrane systems.

IKO Roofgarden systems have a dark slate colour finish on the upper surface and a thermo-fused film on the underside. They can be used within IKO specifications for both extensive and intensive roof garden situations.

These systems can also be used as a hybrid system or a torch applied system, ensuring the product is prepared for both the site conditions and project requirements.

With their reinforced bituminous membranes, the IKO Roofgarden systems achieve waterproofing functionality and are backed with a 20-year guarantee when installed in line with the specification by IKO Approved and Registered Contractors only.

They are also classified BROOF(t4) in accordance with BS EN 13501-5: 2016 fire classification. This enables unrestricted use within Part B4 of the Approved Documents of the Building Regulations (tested under ENV1187).

This is based on specific system build-up testing, so please contact IKO for further clarification or refer to the product BBA certificate, where applicable.
