easyHotel, Sheffield – IKO Armourplan PSG

The former Primark store in the Castlegate area, North East of Sheffield city centre has now been converted to a budget hotel (easyHotel) after a refurbishment project. The five-storey building has been transformed into a 131-bed hotel with a basement gym as well as commercial space.

Shaldon Beach, South Devon – IKO Armourplan P

IKO Polymeric and DFR Roofing worked on an astonishing private dwelling in South Devon. Sitting on the hills of Shaldon Beach, the 330 m2 modern, detached house was built with a flat roof as part of the planning requirements to avoid obstructing the view of other properties overlooking the beach.

The University of York has invested in a £27m infrastructure in the Heslington East Campus which is planned as a state-of-the-art learning facility for pre-university overseas students to provide academic preparation programmes prior to their undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

Chalford Hill, Stroud

Chalford Hill School, originally called The British School, was built in 1874. It stands on the top of the hill with views out to the surrounding hills and valleys. The school is built from Cotswold stone, which is the local building material.

NHDC Office, Letchworth Garden City – IKO Armourplan G

NHDC Office in Letchworth Garden City was an old courtyard style building with buildings on 4 sides covered with a metal roofing system laid to a low pitch and suffering from water ingress. The project involved a major refurbishment of a 1970s office block to enable council services to be brought in from scattered locations in to single occupancy.
