The IKO Adesso Torch-On APP capsheet is a fully bonded, torch-applied, polyester-reinforced, APP-modified bitumen capsheet designed for use in two or three-layer built-up flat roofing systems.
The polyester-reinforced carrier provides a strong base, while the APP-modified bitumen gives the membrane a high softening point. This helps reduce potential foot marking during torch-applied installation and makes the capsheet well suited to sloping and vertical applications.
The upper surface features a mineral granule finish to provide UV stability to the installed roofing system, while the underside is finished with a thermo-fusible film for torch application.
Available with green or black mineral finishes, the IKO Adesso capsheet is supplied in 8m x 1m rolls and features a 75mm upper selvedge. The product carries a Declaration of Performance and is UK Conformity Assessed.
When installed as part of a built-up roof system and maintained in accordance with IKO literature, relevant Codes of Practice and UK Building Regulations, the IKO Adesso capsheet is covered by a 10-year IKO material guarantee.
