IKOpro Synthaprufe Trade is a blend of bitumen emulsion and synthetic rubber latex.
It is a water-based cold liquid product applied in multiple coats by brush to provide a fully bonded damp proofing solution to solid vertical and horizontal substrates.
IKOpro Synthaprufe Trade is used for internal application to damp-proof masonry walls and concrete floors, before they receive plaster coats and sand/cement screed finishes, respectively.
It can also be applied below ground to provide fabric protection to external retaining wall structures.*
It is not suitable for use externally above ground and cannot be rendered.
*IKOpro Synthaprufe Original must be specified if a liquid is needed to form part of an external waterproofing solution to BS8102:2022. IKOpro Synthaprufe Trade is suitable for damp proofing and building fabric protection purposes only.
