Laverstock is a residential block of flats and situated on the cliff tops overlooking the sea at Boscombe, Bournemouth. The concrete components of the staircases, which provide residents with access to the flats on the upper levels, had not been waterproofed when initially constructed in the 1930’s.

IKO and Monarch Roofing were consulted by both Keir – Roberts Limbrick Architects & The Jockey Club as the existing podium decks were leaking and surface rainwater was filtering through the pre formed concrete structure and dripping onto the race visitors below, this was prevalent on the bridge walkway and around the area of the Queens enclosure.

Broadway Plaza, Birmingham – IKO Polimar

Broadway Plaza is a multi-use facility based in Birmingham City centre; in use 24 hours a day, it houses an array of eateries, leisure and accommodation venues. The site covers the listed Old Birmingham Children’s hospital which in turn provided waterproofing challenges.

A multi-million pound external refurbishment undertaken by Triton Property Services. The aim of the project was to design and re-waterproof penthouse roofs, multi-level balconies, terraces and light-well decks of the high end central London art deco properties.

Euston Station is one of the UK’s busiest train stations with approximately 70 million commuters travelling to the West Midlands, North West, North Wales and parts of Scotland. Rebuilt in the 1960’s, the 55,000m2 roof area was in an advanced stage of deterioration.
